So Mom says if she writes this all down and get encouragement from other Basenjis that this weight loss is really going to happen. I can tell you I held out until 6:09 lsast night before I ate that new food my Mom got me but this morning I am ignoring it so far. I did try and sneak up on the table to help myself to my cat brothers food but Mom intercepted and took the bowl away. So I am acting like I could care less. I'll wait awhile and when she goes to work I may take a nibble of that ucky food.
My aunt says to put some canned food on top of my new food because she says she hates to see it when her dogs go hungry. Mom thinks if I was hungry I'd eat that food but I say If you were hungry and all there was was something you didn't like would you eat it.
Well maybe later.
Day 3 we gots 30days before we go back to get weighted.
Mom was watching me in the yard earlier and I was holding my head high and prancing and Mom said she thinks I lost an ounce or two but it was probably blind love. This is going to a long 30 days.

Hey you know what my Mom does is she mixes a little hot water in our kibble and then a bit of good canned dogfood and stirs it all up,yummy! Also Mom used to have a pet store and usually there is a "money back" clause if you won't eat it, also you can call the 1-800 # that you can find on the bag to discuss issues too. Lots of stores give out small sample packs of different food that your Mom can make some little piles of each brand on the floor and see which one you pick yourself. Good luck!!
