Momday morning basenji day

It's Monday morning and my Mom is suppose to be getting dressed for work but instead she'd putzing around not paying any attention to me so I thought I'd just go get one of my favorite shoes and give it a good chew. I was enjoying myself quite nicely but Mom spotted me and took the shoe away. So then I just sat where I was just stared at the wall. I didn't see much sense in getting up and trying to find something else to do.
My best friend Ruby the terrier was out in her yard earlier and Mom went over to visit her Mom but wouldn't take me. She just won't let us play like she use too. It's breaking my heart. Mom says she might get me another dog to play with but she's not actually looking. So I have to chase the cat instead.
Guess I'll just go back to sleep, I live a lonely life.

  1. Ah, poor Mollie. I can see your problem. Momslave bought a new pair of Birkenstocks (sandals) and only wore them once. She was watching tv and noticed I was missing. She found me on her bed with one of her new sandals, and yep, I chewed on the the straps! She took the sandal away from me. Then do you know what she did? She hit me on the head with it, and told me NO! She had to take the sandal in and have someone sew the strap. I haven't touched her sandals since then. She said that she was sorry she hit me in the head, but was also glad that it was those sandals and not the one's that cost $130.00.
We like chasing the cats, but we ended up chasing them all outside. One will come in the house, but mom won't let us chase her. When no one is home, that cat won't come in the house cuz she knows we will make her run.
We're sorry you live a loney life. Having another dog to play with would be fun. But you gots to make sure that you get along together and not fight. How come she won't let you play with Ruby? That's not fair! I would protest, cause a revolt of some kind. Play like your sick, and maybe she might feel sorry for you and do something nice. You never know till you give it a try. Best of luck to you Mollie.
